Meet the maker
Hi! I'm Insaaf, the creator of all things Give Us Pockets. I started this brand as a response to the disappointing lack of pockets in women's clothing that seemingly nobody was doing anything about. I'm a self taught sewist who designs and makes everything you see on this site - including the website itself!
I come from a creative background having worked in graphic/web design, ecommerce, and social media. Who knew all these skills would come in handy when I decided to launch this brand at the end of 2022. We've come a long way since then and I'm so thankful to be able to bring dresses with pockets to all of you.

This website and everything you see on it has been done entirely by me and it is the ultimate curation of my creative endeavours. It allowed me to bring together my skills in graphic design, web development, coding, ecommerce, photography, product design, copywriting, and of course sewing! I’ve poured my heart and soul into this business and every facet of it has been pondered and refined then pondered some more. So take this as the cultivation of where I’ve come from, and use it as a projection of where I’m headed.
